The founding partner, D.V. Kapila, made his name as a litigator in courts across the country and also advised clients looking to establish a foothold in pre and post-independence Kenya. He was also instrumental in supporting those on the front line of the independence struggle, earning him the quiet respect of the nation.
Our current partnership boasts one of Kenya’s first Senior Counsel, as well as one of the minds that shaped the country’s privatisation initiative and listed company legislation. The team also comprises English-qualified lawyers with a combined 20 years of experience gained through advising on innovative and market-shaping transactions.
